Going to parties is the way to loosen up, relax from work and have fun with friends. Every woman wants to look beautiful and different at the party and to impress the others with her appearance. The different types of parties have different makeup requirements. For example you cannot do a heavy makeup at a party held during the day. Here are some ideas that will help you glow at parties and feel bright.

When you are invited at a day party – garden or pool party for instance, it is better to do a more simple makeup with light colors without too much eyeliner or highlighters. Try to achieve a more natural look. Heavy makeup and dark colors are not appropriate for the day light.
 
For evening parties you are free to experiment with your makeup. It is your choice – dark or light colors, eyeliner, and fake eyelashes. You can even do a more extravagant makeup if it would look good on you. You can also use shimmer makeup. When you enter into light, small shimmer pieces reflect lights and your skin glows.
While selecting shimmer for makeup you must keep in mind that it should be the same as your jewelry color. Golden shimmer never looks good with silver jewelry. Similar silver shimmer is not suitable for golden jewelry. Choose the same colors to look beautiful and glamorous.
For official parties you have to take your makeup in consideration with the style and colors of your outfit. It is not necessary to use the same color as your dress for example. You can use a color same as some of your accessories or use neutral colors. Feel free to make color combinations as long as they match with your clothes.
Some parties have specific themes. Like when birthday parties are celebrated with a decided color theme for decoration. You can use eye liners and shades of eye shadows in the same color.
